Patsy Okita Memorial Videos

I created these two short videos for my Mom's memorial. I used Windows Moviemaker. I was fortunate to have some great still photos, and video from an interview I did of her a decade ago. I wanted to tell the story of my mother's life but I wanted to let Patsy tell it in her voice. And in the first video, she does just that.

Then in the second video, the music plays and Mom's voice is silent, as if she's already becoming a memory. But I let her tell the rest of her story...through subtitles. As if she is speaking to us from another life. I hope you enjoy the videos. I encourage everyone to shoot lots of video of your loved ones and yourself. It's a great way to keep the memory of people alive.

The first video's music is "Angel in the House" by The Story.
The second video's music is "Falling Slowly" by Glen Hansard from the movie ONCE.

This video was played at the start of Mom's memorial.

This video was played at the close of Mom's memorial.
